Online method

Electricity readings are often submitted over the Internet. For these purposes, several algorithms for sending data have been developed, which are implemented through the supplier's representative office in the network. To do this, registration on the company's website with an email address is required. Further procedure:

1. Follow the link with the name "submit testimony".
2. Enter the number designation of the personal account.
3. Mark the tariff (account number) of the electrical appliance.
4. Enter data for the current period into the proposed columns (indicators for the last month will be displayed in the next window).

Day-night electricity meters and multi-tariff devices

Almost all modern models have a built-in electronic timer, which allows you to keep track of electricity for different time zones. In 2 tariff devices, there are two of them: day (T1) and night (T2). For each of them, the energy consumption is counted according to a special tariff scale, taking into account the "night" discount.

Multi-tariff meters are designed for three metering zones:

• T1 - peak period.
• T2 - half-peak.
• T3 - night mode.

The validity period of each of them is set in accordance with the current regulations on multi-tariff metering.

Mercury 200 and similar models

Different models from this manufacturer have the same interface for taking readings. Only two buttons are used to control the process itself. One of them, designated as "Input", is intended for changing the tariffs at which the payment is calculated. The second button with the arrow ring depicted on it is used to select the view mode.

The procedure for working with such a counter:

1. A short press on the second button selects the desired mode ("A", for example).
2. A red line should appear above the corresponding icon.
3. Upon completion of setting the mode, the display will show information on the tariff T.
4. The values ​​of the remaining tariff plans (T2 and T3) are viewed by pressing "Enter".

In the final form, the information is displayed in the form of a tariff symbol and the actual readings with two significant digits after the decimal point. "Energomera" CE 101, CE 102 and others

The principle of obtaining data from devices manufactured by Energomera is the same as in the case of Mercury. The manufacturer offers its customers 2-tariff day-night devices or their multi-tariff analogs. Every 10-15 seconds, their scoreboard displays data on time zones typical for a particular type of electric meter.

Depending on the model selected, there are two or three buttons on the instrument panel. To change the values, use the "PRSM" button, which means "view". In all other respects, the procedure for taking readings is no different from the previously described procedures. Payment is made in integer values ​​of kW / h, so the numbers after the dot are not taken into account (they are not registered when submitting data). The possibility of viewing them over the past period is not provided for in these models.

Counters "Mikron"

For the convenience of the user, the developers of these devices have provided them with only one switch button. At the bottom of the screen, they provided a window for tariff zones T1-T4 and an additional symbol "R +". This is explained by the fact that the meter is sometimes installed on a pole or on the wall of the house, where the conditions for taking readings are far from comfortable.

When the button is pressed, the data appears on the indicator one by one, and the zone number is indicated by a check mark appearing next to its designation. If it appears above R +, it means that it's time to rewrite the report. The general algorithm of actions is to wait for the appearance of two checkmarks each time after the next press, and only then proceed to the next tariff.

Taking readings from a three-phase meter

Before taking readings from a 3-phase meter and submitting information, it turns out which of the devices is at the user's disposal:

• old type meter equipped with transformers;
• electronic device of direct connection.

The procedure for reading data from these devices is similar to how it was done in single-phase devices. In old counting devices, each of the working phases is connected through a step-down transformer. In this case, for the correct data transfer, it will be necessary to make adjustments in the form of an additional multiplier (transformation ratio). The procedure for calculating expenses in this case is stipulated in the contract, where the values ​​of the conversion factors are indicated. The correctness of the transmitted readings guarantees the correctness of billing for electricity and minimizing the risk of overpayment for the consumed resource to zero.

Technical metering of energy consumption is very important for both sides of the process (supplier and consumer). A well-organized control system and timely payment allow you to avoid unpleasant moments associated with their mutual obligations.
