Review of Erisson air conditioners: error codes, mobile floor, window and wall models

The Erisson trade brand (sometimes reversed and pronounced erisson) belongs to the Russian company Telebalt LLC. Registered in the Kaliningrad region since 1999.

Initially, the company produced CRT TVs. But it has gradually expanded its product range and today produces a wide range of various consumer and professional electronics. Our own factory facilities produce TVs, microwave ovens, wall clocks, etc. Some of the products are manufactured under other brands: ERC, Thomson, Elenberg and others.

Climatic equipment is represented by fans, oil heaters and air conditioning systems (window, mobile and two-unit split systems). The company does not produce any components for air cooling equipment. The manufacturer either assembles air conditioners from components of other companies, or places orders for production at foreign factories.

The climatic equipment is not included in the main product line of the company. The company does not conduct any serious developments of its own in this direction. This technique is most likely analogous to similar systems from other companies. In fact, these are Chinese models in Russian packaging.

Main systems produced

Due to the fact that these are not the main products, the company does not present any expressed series of air conditioners. The equipment is produced at different factories in China from various components. Therefore, even models of the same type may differ, both in terms of nodes and in characteristics. If the characteristics are insignificant - within the tolerance, then the quality of the nodes may differ significantly.

Mostly the acquisition of equipment is associated with a share of luck. You can get an inexpensive, high-quality air conditioner that will last for more than one year. And you can buy a "good" copy, which will fail at the very beginning of operation.

Window air conditioners

Marked with the letters EC-W. There are several models with different capacities:

• EC-W07... Service area - up to 20 sq.m. Power consumption - 580 watts. The noise level according to the passport data is 27 dB. In practice, it is distinguished by increased noise. Width - 424 mm. Height - 325 mm. No heating mode. The kit includes a simple remote control. Standard dust filter;
• EC-W09... It differs from the previous model in a higher power - 650 watts. Larger cooling area - up to 25 sq.m. Noise level according to the passport - 31 dB;
• EC-W12... The most powerful monoblock window. Power consumption - 1.3 kW. Serviced room area - up to 30 sq.m. Width - 695 mm. Height - 580 mm. The noise level is 34 dB.

Simple models of air conditioners from extensions have an auto-restart function, protection against overheating. Enabling night mode reduces noise, but not enough. Therefore, installation in sleeping rooms is not recommended.

Mobile floor air conditioners

Designated with the letters EC-P. Presented in two models:

• EC-P10... Recommended area up to 25 sq.m. There is a remote control. Works in 4 main modes: cooling, heating, dehumidification, ventilation. Noise level - 50 dB;
• EC-P14... Differs in increased capacity and serviced area - up to 35 sq. M. at a standard ceiling height.

The disadvantages of the model are that it is very noisy. Although not only mobile Erisons make a lot of noise, it is typical for any portable system.

The main advantage is mobility. Transferred, plugged in and the system is ready for use. For optimum performance, it is essential to ensure that the warm air can be removed reliably. The corrugated pipeline is exposed to a window or door, which brings certain inconveniences.

Wall split systems

There was an attempt to highlight some series of wall-mounted split systems: the main line, the economic line. But she did not receive the proper development. So far, a little chaos reigns in the batches of the systems produced by the company. The firm does not consider it necessary to remove the uncertainty and somehow systematize the products.

In the labeling they are designated by the letters EC-MS or EC-S. The combination of functions and nodes can be completely different. The volume of refrigerated rooms depends on the capacity and ranges from 20 to 75 sq.m. depending on the specific model.

All models have 4 standard operating modes: cooling, heating, ventilation and dehumidification. They can have several filtration systems:

• standard dust filter;
• ionizer;
• antibacterial filter;
• cold catalyst.

The noise level and night modes allow the use of separate equipment in the bedroom, in the nursery.

Comparative characteristics of several models

The comparative table is indicative. It is recommended to check with a specialist in the sales department about each specific instance.

There are no specialized centers for the sale and service of Erisson HVAC equipment. Therefore, you will have to buy equipment in ordinary consumer electronics stores, where the level of a consultant may turn out to be unsatisfactory.

Erisson control panel and air conditioner instructions

There is no single instruction for air conditioners. The proposed descriptions do not apply to series or models, but to batches of released products and may include minor discrepancies with a specific instance, which the manufacturer warns about at the very beginning. The general provisions of the instructions concern recommendations for installing the air conditioner, preparing it for operation, the main modes of operation and use.

Window monoblocks are produced without remotes. There are also no additional options for expansion. You cannot connect a standard control unit. There is no possibility of connecting to external control via Wi-Fi.

The advantage is the simple control system. No redundant functionality. The control is intuitive and does not differ from the standard control of most similar systems.

Erisson air conditioner error codes

Not all manuals provide descriptions of air conditioner error codes. Error codes are displayed on the remote control. Some models have a self-diagnosis system, but it is recommended to contact the service center if errors occur. Fault code numbers may not correspond to the data found in various sources. Doing it yourself can lead to costly air conditioner repairs.

Before contacting a service center, a small test can be performed. Disconnect the device from the power supply for a while and then turn it on again. Perhaps the error will disappear if it occurred due to some kind of failure (for example, a power surge in the network).

User reviews

Reviews of the Erisson climate systems are generally positive. More positive reviews about erisson split systems. Significant disadvantages are noted in floor and window air conditioning systems.

The disadvantages are primarily related to the increased noise level and the peculiarity of heat dissipation.Heat dissipation requires the corrugation to be brought out into the street through a window or doorway. At the same time, some users argue that cooling is ineffective due to the suction of external heat into the room. To eliminate this drawback, it is proposed to expose the air conditioner to the outside and to remove only cooled air into the room.

Some instances of window monoblocks immediately after installation gave out a malfunction and they had to be disassembled. Inside, incorrectly installed nodes, checked self-tapping screws, etc. are found. The inner empty space is discordant with the outer dimensions of the product.

Erisson split systems are rated positively. Good reliability, price and quality for the middle segment. All declared functions work. At the very beginning of operation, in some instances, when turned on, an increased noise is observed until they warm up and enter the operating mode.
