The Vertex brand is a Russian engineering group called Vertex. The head office is located in Moscow. Founded in 1993. It specializes in the development, production, sale and service of household and semi-industrial climate control equipment. For more than 20 years of development, the holding has expanded to several dozen legal entities located in various regions of the country and abroad. There is no own production. Most of the orders for the assembly of equipment are placed at 3 Chinese factories: Gree, Aux, TCL.
A network of distributors and service centers is located in Russia and some CIS countries. In the far abroad, the company's products are represented insignificantly.
The line of offered products includes systems, ventilation, air conditioning (cassette, window, floor, wall, etc.), heating (convectors, warm floors, heat guns, curtains, etc.), equipment for controlling climate systems and systems heating.

Semi-industrial positioned for use in offices, business centers, small industrial premises, public institutions, etc. Those. where the volume of the premises is larger or it is required to remove excessive industrial heat. Household air conditioning systems are designed for use in apartments, private houses, small rooms. With the exception of a few models, all equipment is designed to maintain a microclimate in one room. The components are predominantly made in China: either their own design - Gree, or copies of well-known brands - HIGHLY (Chinese HITACHI), Qingang (Chinese DAIKIN), GMCC (Chinese Toshiba).

Vertex Control Panel and Air Conditioners Instructions
The simplest, window air conditioners do not have remote controls and the operation modes are set directly on the device block. More complex models have two control options: a remote control for the air conditioner and a minimum control on the indoor unit. Additionally, some models can be controlled via Wi-Fi.
HVAC control panels are universal. Modes not supported by this model will be unavailable on the remote control. On all types of consoles, an intuitive selection of the main operating modes:
- Cooling (COOL);
- Heating (HEAT);
- Ventilation (FAN);
- Dehumidification (DRY);
- Automatic (AUTO).
In addition to them, each model can be supplemented with operating modes specific to this particular equipment. The instruction for air conditioners contains a detailed description of all operating modes and their assignment from the remote control. Due to possible significant differences between models, remotes and instructions from different models may not be suitable. The buttons on the indoor units allow you to turn on / off the equipment to the already configured operating modes. They also have an indicator on which the error codes of air conditioners are displayed.
Vertex air conditioner error codes
This option is only available for models with self-diagnosis. The exact description of the faults is given in the manual for the corresponding model. The codes can be reflected on the indicator built into the indoor unit and on the display of the remote control.
Fault indication looks like flashing of certain symbols. For instance:
- E1 blinks once - damage to the room temperature sensor;
- E2 blinks twice - damage to the sensor for measuring the temperature of the pipe in the room;
- E6 flashes six times - damage to the fan motor of the indoor unit.
It is not at all necessary that the error code that appears means a serious repair of the air conditioner. Perhaps there was some kind of failure. You can try to first turn off the device (it is better to completely de-energize by unplugging or turning off the machine, depending on the specific implementation scheme for turning on the power supply). Wait a couple of minutes and turn it on again. During this time, the tanks will be discharged, electrostatics will be reset, and random errors in the control system will be reset. If the error continues to flash after this, it is best to call a service technician.
User reviews
Reviews of the vertex air conditioner are not unambiguous. One of the main advantages that buyers note is that the cost is relatively lower than the cost of models of similar power from well-known manufacturers. The equipment warranty - 3 years also captivates. There is also little noise during operation.
Vertex air conditioner reviews differ for different models. More expensive models with additional features receive more positive comments. Such models correspond to the declared characteristics. They have a beautiful design and fit into a modern interior.
In cheap models, there is a discrepancy with the passport characteristics. In particular, there is a lack of capacity to cool the room, and there is not enough heating capacity.
The expensive models also have a number of complaints about the operation of the equipment. It is difficult to set the automatic climate control mode, the device monitors the set temperature in a peculiar way. This is due to inverters, when, when certain parameters are reached, it does not turn off, but a transition to a lower power occurs.
