- We leave the air conditioner alone for 5 minutes so that the freon is concentrated in the outdoor unit;
- We screw on the second valve on the outdoor unit and immediately turn off the air conditioner;
- We check if the freon remains in the system: we press on the valve. If done correctly, there should be no hiss. Turn off the power;
- And now you can disconnect the cold line between the modules outside and inside;
- First, we dismantle the internal module, very carefully handling the latches on the mounting panel;
- We put plugs on all open tubes so that they do not get clogged;
- If the outdoor unit is hanging high, you will need to use a truck crane. In any case, it is very heavy. Therefore, you cannot do without help.
