Sequence for dismantling the outdoor unit
The first step is to transfer all the refrigerant to the outdoor unit. To do this, remove the safety caps with an adjustable wrench and use a hex wrench to close the plug on the outlet channel valve (where a thinner tube is installed). On the block, the input and output are marked accordingly. The air conditioner is turned on in cold mode for about one minute, during which time the compressor pumps all the refrigerant from the cooling chamber. The air conditioner turns off and the inlet plug is closed.
Now you can use a wrench to unscrew the nuts that press the flared end of the pipes to the unions of the block, the order of the pipes does not matter. It is not necessary to unscrew it completely, the nut must remain baited, while disconnecting the tube, you need to listen to see if the plugs are poisoned. If you have any suspicions, it is better to contact a service that professionally assembles and dismantles the air conditioner. If everything is fine, the tubes are disconnected, the ends of the tubes and fittings must be insulated to prevent dirt from getting in, the electrical cable is disconnected, the block mounting bolts are unscrewed. The outdoor unit can be packed.
On the indoor unit, unscrew the two tube nuts, insulate the ends, remove the drain tube, disconnect the wires, the unit is lifted and removed from the wall. Thus, both the installation and the dismantling of the air conditioner are carried out.
