Decoding error codes for air conditioners General climate makes it possible, without calling the master from the service, to troubleshoot.
Air conditioner error codes General Climate, displayed on the remote control:
- E2 - no contact with the temperature sensor;
- E3 - no contact with the evaporator temperature sensor;
- E4 - no contact with the condenser temperature sensor;
- E5 - the temperature of the drain pump motor is increased;
- E6 - the protection mode of the outdoor unit is on (open circuit, protection against overheating);
- E7 - no contact with EEPROM;
- E8 - the drain pan is full to the top.
Error codes on displays
Some errors can be corrected by yourself. To eliminate others, you will have to contact a specialist:
- operation + timer + def / fan - too much voltage is applied to the compressor more than once every 15 minutes. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet;
- water alarm LED (blinking) - there is too much water in the condensate tank for no longer than 3 minutes. The drain pump must be manually started;
- water alarm LED (permanently on) - the tank is overfilled for more than 3 minutes. The device is in emergency mode. In order to eliminate this error code, you must disconnect it from the electricity;
- def / fan (pre / def) - no contact with the temperature sensor on the condenser. The device will start working as soon as the temperature sensor turns on;
- All lights are blinking - violation of the function of the outdoor unit (overheating or hypothermia, power failure);
- Timer - short circuit or no contact with the internal temperature sensor;
- Operation - there is no contact with the temperature sensor on the evaporator or a short circuit in it;
- operation + timer - violation of contact with EEPROM. You will not be able to fix this error on your own, since you need to install a new control board.
Error codes split-systems type S-HR
Even with one equipment manufacturer, the designations are always different, therefore, you should carefully study the instructions and know the exact model of your air conditioner and its units (indoor and outdoor). Only after these steps can you find the exact decoding of such codes on the air conditioner as pre / def. Below is a table just for such a case.
Be careful, these codes are valid for the following models: S12HR, S09HR, S18HR, S07HR.
operation | timer | defrosting | What is the problem |
blinks | does not burn | blinks | Compressor voltage too high four times in a row |
Does not burn | blinks | blinks | The fan of the indoor module has been standing for more than a minute |
blinks | blinks | blinks | Compressor worth |
does not burn | does not burn | blinks | There is no contact with the temperature sensor on the pipes of the indoor unit |
does not burn | blinks | does not burn | There is no contact with the temperature sensor of the indoor unit, which measures the room temperature |
on | blinks | does not burn | EEPROM function abnormality |
General Climate air conditioner error for model S24HR
operation | timer | defrosting | auto | What is the problem |
blinks | blinks | blinks | blinks | Compressor overvoltage noted four times |
Does not burn | blinks | Does not burn | Does not burn | Indoor unit temperature sensor does not function |
blinks | Does not burn | Does not burn | Does not burn | The temperature sensor on the indoor unit pipes does not function |
Does not burn | Does not burn | blinks | Does not burn | Outdoor unit temperature sensor does not function |
Does not burn | Does not burn | blinks | blinks | Overvoltage on the outdoor unit or the thermistor function is broken |
Does not burn | Does not burn | Does not burn | blinks | EEPROM function abnormality |
Errors of General climate conditioners most often appear due to untimely service or violation of the rules for using the air conditioner.
