Each Polaris air conditioner has an option for self-diagnosis of problems. If a malfunction is detected, the electronics turns off the air conditioner and displays the air conditioner error code Polaris.
To display error codes of Polaris air conditioners, diodes located on the front side of the indoor module are used. If the self-diagnosis has detected a failure, the diodes blink or light up at a given frequency corresponding to a certain error. If several malfunctions are detected at the same time, the most serious code is displayed first.
