Air conditioning of houses
Selection and use of air conditioning systems in a private house
Choosing an air conditioning system for a private house should be at the design stage. Then it is possible to combine air conditioning, heating and ventilation. Money is saved and optimal conditions are created for residents. When planning air conditioning for a private house, one should take into account the design of the building, the capabilities of the power system. It is very important to correctly calculate the power of the climate system.
What type of air conditioner should I prefer?
The most optimal type of air conditioning for a private house is a multi-zone system. Depending on the area of the cottage, the number of outdoor modules is selected, indoor modules are connected to them (up to 30 pcs.). Unlike conventional multisplits, the multizone system allows each indoor unit to be switched on to its own mode, independently of the others. For example, in the nursery it is necessary to warm up the air, and in the kitchen to cool and ventilate. This combination is possible. The circuit uses electricity quite sparingly.
To air condition one room in the house, a conventional split system with a wall-mounted indoor unit is sufficient. This is a fairly economical option. You can install it in a built house with finished interior decoration. Splits work quietly, are controlled by a remote control and are equipped with a host of functions. The big drawback of such a system is the outdoor blocks, of which there can be many, and they all disfigure the facade of the building.
The multisplit system is devoid of this drawback: several indoor units are connected to one outdoor unit. But they can only work in one mode at a time.
If the house is equipped with false ceilings, the air conditioning system of the house can be equipped with cassette or duct units. The latter option fits perfectly into any interior without disturbing it. The air ducts are disguised as beams or extend behind a false ceiling; only neat intake grilles are visible in the room.
Air conditioning power
Experts should calculate the capacity of the air conditioning system at home. Finding a suitable air conditioner for a cottage is much more difficult than for a city apartment. It is not correct to proceed only from the area of the house. It is necessary to take into account all heat inflows in summer and heat losses in winter. If the owners want to use an air conditioner for heating in the cold season, a column air conditioner combined with ventilation may be the best option. These home air conditioning systems are widely used in Europe and the United States.
