The only significant drawback of a duct air conditioner is the inability to regulate the temperature in each room separately.

Some owners of climatic equipment are faced with the question: is it possible to install a stretch ceiling if the air conditioner is already installed. As a rule, they try to hang the indoor unit of split systems as close to the ceiling as possible. To install a stretch ceiling, it is necessary to attach a baguette to the wall, insert the canvas and, after stretching the canvas, cover the baguette with a decorative plinth.
What can be done:
- Reinstall the indoor unit or remove it while installing the ceiling. Then hang back. Such work is carried out by specialists in the maintenance of climatic equipment;
- Construct a structure bypassing the air conditioner. The canvas will not stretch over the block itself.
The air conditioner and the stretch ceiling will not interfere with each other if the distance from the main ceiling to the indoor unit is more than 15 centimeters and the installation is correct.
