When building a bath, it is important to take into account many points that affect reliability and functionality. One of the main stages of construction is the installation of a door to the steam room. It is designed to reduce heat loss, create comfort in the room.

But not all types of wood are suitable for a steam room. The material must withstand temperature extremes, be resistant to high humidity. For the bath, it is recommended to use oak, aspen, birch. Bath door installation should begin with preparation. If you plan to make the structure yourself, you need to draw a diagram in which the exact dimensions of the product will be indicated. The length and height are determined, which are calculated depending on the opening. It is recommended to add a few more centimeters to all the dimensions obtained. - In accordance with safety requirements, the doors in the saunas should only open outward. You can not put complex locks and locks. All fittings are selected from materials that are resistant to heat and high humidity. It is categorically impossible to put a metal handle, otherwise the person will get burned.
- To reduce the level of heat loss, the front door must be made with a high threshold. Its size must be at least 20 cm.
In the door block, a steam threshold is not made. A 5 cm gap is left there to provide ventilation.

Glass door installation
