Line of furnaces of the new generation Fire-Battery

The Novosibirsk company "Termofor" produced a heating stove Fire-Battery several years ago. The line is represented by devices designed for any square of the room. The units are distinguished by a laconic streamlined body, functionality and fuel economy.

Purpose and operating conditions of the Fire-Battery oven

Furnaces operate in a combustion, smoldering mode. Suitable for cooking

The device is designed to heat the air in the room. The long burning mode, depending on the modification, is from 8 to 16 hours according to the manufacturer's approval. In real conditions - from 6 to 9 hours. The principle of operation of the unit is convection, due to special pipes hidden inside. It is suitable for quick heat creation - in 10-15 minutes.

The stove is small, but the Fire-Battery will fully heat the house and provide an opportunity for cooking. It works in the modes of potbelly stove, smoldering (main). To start, you will need to fully open the sash and the blower. After the traction has stabilized, the door and the gate are closed.

The heater will switch to glow mode upon completion of heating.

Operating conditions

For the operation of the unit, a stationary chimney is required.

The manufacturer sets the following operational requirements for the stove:

  • laying only dry firewood, which excludes the formation of soot or condensation;
  • filling pellets through the burner hole;
  • the chimney heats up in an intensive mode;
  • smoldering takes no more than 70-85% of the total fuel combustion time;
  • installation of a firebox with a removable protective cover - burnout is excluded;
  • obligatory installation of a chimney with a retainer-damper.

The operation of the unit with coal fuel is not permitted.

Unit features

Before buying a stove, you need to study its differences from other heating equipment.

Design

The exterior design is laconic, which is suitable for the design of any room. The all-welded metal body is finished in a temperature-resistant dark gray powder paint. The flap is extended vertically for the convenience of unfolding the fuel. At the bottom of the combustion chamber there is a metal sheet that prevents burnout. For additional tightness, the contour of the door and ash pan is decorated with a heat-resistant cord.

Heat flow

The ribs produce soft heat radiation rather than hot heat. In comparison with modifications without shielding, the whole room is heated, and not just the heating zone. Infrared and thermal radiation are in equal proportions, so the air near the stove does not burn the skin. Welded slotted convectors on the casing contribute to the uniform distribution of heated air masses through longitudinal cuts.

Firebox volume

The firebox is the same for the entire Teplofor product line - 35 liters. The dimensions of the opening are 15x30 cm, which is enough for firewood from 30 to 35 cm in length.

Combustion intensity control

Due to the tightness of the ash pan and flap, air leaks practically do not occur. To adjust the intensity of combustion, a gate under the door and an ash pan are used. The combustion rate can be reduced by shutting off the chimney gate.The thrust is reduced, and the intensity of combustion is reduced.

In the closed position of the slide gate, a gap of 25% of the chimney diameter remains, this is sufficient for high-quality removal of carbon monoxide gases.

Chimney outlet

Models with side and top flue outlet

Fire-Battery is characterized by two types of chimney direction - upper and lower. The user should pay attention to the following points:

  • The pipe is brought up. Condensation and soot particles get inside the firebox. When they burn out, a plug is formed, which is removed only after disassembling and cleaning the chimney.
  • The pipe is brought down. Lifting up is carried out using a tee with a condensate collection tank at the bottom. Preventive cleaning is carried out through the outlet.

To normalize the draft, the cross-section of the chimney must be equal to the outlet or slightly increased.

Fuel chamber protection

The stove has been in operation for an average of 5-7 years. At the end of this period, the furnace may burn out. Replaceable protective plates extend the life of the unit. Owners will need to bend the clamps with a screwdriver, put in a new sheet of metal and bend the elements back.

Technical specifications

Depending on the modification, the heaters differ in power, dimensions, weight, and the number of convector pairs. A general characteristic for the entire Fire-Battery series is a 15x30 cm firebox and a chimney cross-section of 120 mm. The main parameters of the devices can be studied in the table.

The series marked B is distinguished by a stainless steel heat exchanger, suitable for heating and hot water needs, provided that it is supplemented with an expansion tank.

Benefits and cons

When the furnace burns out, unusable parts can be replaced

Heating devices "Teplofor" of the Fire-Battery series have many advantages:

  • accurate execution of the body - welded seams are not visible;
  • the uniqueness of the heat flow - a person feels warmth, not heat;
  • the ability to install in any room;
  • the presence of a screening effect - IR heat fluxes;
  • efficiency indicator in intensive mode is 76%, with prolonged burning - 87%;
  • special design of the furnace - below there is a container for collecting ash;
  • combustion rate control - two types of dampers are used (for oxygen supply and smoke exhaust);
  • quick replacement of a faulty combustion chamber;
  • the presence of cast iron grates for complete burning out of firewood.

The disadvantages of furnace equipment include:

  • the formation of soot on the glass sash when laying damp firewood;
  • smoke access to the room if the pipe height of 5 m is not observed;
  • accumulation of ash and condensate on the walls of the chimney without thermal protection;
  • the need for water in models with a heat exchanger.

The fire-resistant glass of the door is self-cleaning when exposed to fire.

The nuances of the selection of the Fire-Battery stove

The Fire-Battery series stove is produced in two configurations - Standard and Light. The last line is budgetary and differs from the standard by the absence of cooking zones, a direct chimney, and a solid sash. The modification is carried out without an ash pan, grates, rear and front convector elements. For this reason, the Light series is suitable for installation in garages and workshops, while the Standard series is suitable for residential applications.

Scope of operation

The Light model without a burner is used for heating sheds, garages, greenhouses

Heating devices, depending on the capacity, are suitable for country houses, country cottages, workshops and small production halls. Models with a built-in heat exchanger can be connected to a DHW system and hot water heating. The manufacturer's instructions contain information on the observance of safety rules:

  • the heater is not installed near explosive objects and products;
  • it is impossible to ignite the unit with kerosene and gasoline;
  • it is necessary to alternate the regime of intense combustion with smoldering;
  • it is forbidden to leave the working stove overnight.

The water jacket is built into the heating system using 1-2 radiators.
