There is a group of varieties of similar heating devices. Boilers are classified according to the installation method and the nature of the fuel.
Gas boilers
- Wall mounted. Equipped with an expansion tank and a circulation pump, which significantly saves the space in the room where such boilers are located. This subspecies is classified into two groups. With two circuits - provide heating and allow you to increase the temperature of hot H2O. These devices will be very useful for residential premises in the private sector due to their small dimensions, ease of installation and diagnostics. With one circuit - they function only in the heating circuit for heating the coolant.
- Outdoor. They need in accordance with the safety requirements in a specially equipped room with the fulfillment of all the rules and conditions imposed by gas institutions. They function on the basis of a heat exchanger made of cast iron or steel. Floor heating devices are divided into equipment with atmospheric and inflatable burners. The latter are quite easy to operate, less expensive, and the operation of the devices does not create a loud hum. Boilers with atmospheric burners are more efficient and more expensive. Devices with inflatable burners have a significant advantage - methods of installing burners operating both on blue fuel and on diesel fuel.
Diesel boilers
Solid fuel boilers
Solid fuel heating equipment. The oldest and most common type of heating appliances among Russians. Such boilers are used to provide heat in the room and increase the water temperature to a high value in summer cottages and industrial enterprises. This type of equipment is used in structures located at a great distance from the metropolis. Such devices function independently and are absolutely independent of the presence / absence of electric current.
Electric boilers
Combined fuels
The main characteristic feature of universal heating equipment is the ability to use a group of types of fuel at once. The operation of such a unit is based on solid fuel, and other types (electric current, blue fuel, diesel) are used as additional ones. This specific feature makes it possible to operate the device in different regions and in a variety of environments. The most modest combination boiler set consists of a water jacket, a combustion chamber and a frame. In addition, at the request of the manufacturer, a pump, automatic systems, thermostat and protection structures can be attached. The burner is usually purchased separately. The frame of the device is cast iron or steel. The latter fail less often, and the former have a large mass.
The types of combined heating devices are: devices with a compartment for burning solid fuel with additional installation of hinged burners for diesel and blue fuel; devices with replaceable burners for blue fuel and diesel with an integrated electric glow plug; wood-gas generating (wood-gas) devices.
How to choose a heating device for household use correctly
The selection of the boiler must be carried out taking into account the following parameters: cost, type of fuel, power, method of getting rid of exhaust gaseous substances, installation, number of circuits. In terms of cost, the equipment is divided into 3 main categories: efficient and expensive (usually these are brands created in Germany and Sweden); average in cost, but worse in efficiency (South Korean, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Slovak, Czech models). The power is calculated based on the footage of the heated area and the possible heat loss. As for the number of circuits, for ordinary heating it will be enough for a 1-circuit device, and if you also need to heat water, then it is better to buy a device with 2 circuits.
