Chimney systems are an increasingly common alternative to classic chimney designs. By purchasing them, you get a set with optimal parameters. The result is a perfectly functioning pipe.
Chimney systems usually consist of special blocks, liners and thermal insulation. These components can be of different materials, but they always make it relatively easy and quick to assemble the chimney. The choice of individual systems depends mainly on the heating method in the house.
Chimney systems are construction kits that allow you to build a complete chimney from individual components.
Chimneys are already working in new buildings, but choosing one of the chimney systems can also solve the problem with chimneys in a cottage or country house. Some companies also offer special kits for chimney repairs.
Systems "HELUZ"
The HELUZ DUO system is produced in two versions - HELUZ IZOSTAT DUO with a new generation thin-walled isostatic insert and HELUZ MULTI DUO with a thin-walled ceramic insert. Both systems contain a new type of chimney fitting that has three rows of holes and therefore more air gaps. As a result, thermal insulation is not required, even at high temperatures. Isostatic and ceramic inserts prevent excessive flue gas build-up and are resistant to acids, humidity, corrosion and high temperatures. Unlike refractory inserts, they also resist direct flame better and do not crack. They are suitable for all types of fuel, even when using a low quality boiler.
The HELUZ Profi rehabilitation kit can also be used for the quick reconstruction of a dilapidated pipe. In this case, the chimney will be repaired using a double-walled stainless steel repair piece, which is equipped with thermal insulation and allows you to change from the old square pipe to a new one with a round profile. It does not contain any specific elements that can transmit high temperatures from the inside to the outside of the chimney. The chimney body does not heat up. By using the retrofit kit, you get a modern and certified rear-vented chimney.
Fireplace fittings "Scancore"
The procedure is simple, according to the manufacturer, the chimney design can be self-guided. The chimney moves to the required height and fills the concrete base (wreath) or uses the original cantilever slab. On the base, the individual blocks are glued to the required height above the roof, where it ends with a lining. The manufacturer's kit supplies various types of covers, access doors to the ground, footrests for very high chimneys or grilles for air supply to appliances.
Chimney configurator "Schiedel"
The main decision when using the configurator is whether you want the chimney to be classic, ceramic or stainless. Then you choose from specific types of Schiedel chimney systems, depending on your needs, you will determine the specifics.
For example, if you choose a “Schiedel Absolut” chimney, to which you can connect electrical appliances to all types of fuel, in the second step you will determine whether it is a chimney with one or two chimneys. Then select the appropriate hole diameter from the menu. Indicate if you need a chimney with a ventilation shaft and select a cover and accessories from the menu.
Thus, according to the application, you go at each stage to the final shape of the entire pipe. As each step ends with a visualization, you can see exactly what you are setting up and what your future chimney will look like. Upon completion of the recording, the configurator will immediately detail the list of all required system elements, as well as indicate the budget for the product.
