The owners of suburban areas in most cases resort to the device of an autonomous water supply system. As a rule, it is necessary to organize water sources, and a reliable pumping station is already supplying it to the house or garden. The structure of the Vortex pumping station and its purpose
The water supply equipment has several working units:
- a centrifugal pump with an ejector (for more powerful models it is made portable);
- hydroaccumulator (membrane storage tank);
- pressure switch:

The station works according to the following principle:
- initially, the system accumulates water in the accumulator, due to which the pressure in it rises to the maximum specified maximum;

The model differs in the following parameters:

Criterias of choice
At the time of purchasing a pumping station, the master must rely on the following operating parameters of the unit:
- Power. The larger it is, the greater the number of tasks that the equipment can handle. For example, only for supplying water to the house, you can take an 800 W station. If additional watering of the garden / vegetable garden in the country is planned, you need to buy a stronger unit.
- Suction depth. Take into account the distance of the source from the house.
- Hydraulic tank volume. For a family of 2, 24 liters will be enough. For 3 or more residents, you need to take a station with a tank of 50 liters or more.
- Body material. Cast iron and steel can be operated in more field conditions than polymer. Although plastic dampens noise from a running engine more strongly.

Features of operation and maintenance
Vortex pumping stations are sold ready for operation. It is only important to correctly install and connect the equipment. In order for the unit to work fully, it is advisable to mount it on a flat prepared area. Experienced craftsmen prefer to additionally lay a rubberized mat under the unit and fix the station to the floor. This dampens vibration.
When the equipment is operated year-round, water acts as a natural lubricant. If the station is operated only during the gardening period, it must be dismantled, lubricated and cleaned for the winter.
For year-round use of the unit, it is better to equip a special relatively insulated room: a basement, basement or just a caisson. Such protection will protect the system from freezing in winter.

Vortex stations are understandable in operation, are lightweight, and exhibit moderate operating noise. An additional advantage is the constant availability of spare parts (repair kits) on the market in case of need for repair work. At Vortex station, the manufacturer gives a one-year warranty.
Some craftsmen consider Russian production to be a relative disadvantage. But Vortex stations have been proving for several years that domestic products are not worse than European ones.

Initially, the calculation was only for watering the garden, garden and supplying water to the sink of the house. Later I added a shower room and a washing machine. Even with an increase in tasks, the unit copes with the work easily. Noisy, really. Although the neighbors don't complain. Maybe I'm finding fault. During the short-term operation of the station, no problems were identified.
